Arturo Fuente in Brief.
Founded in West Tampa in 1912 by Cuban-born Arturo Fuente, the brand has been run by the Fuente family for more than a century. Production moved to the Dominican Republic in the 1980s, where Carlos "Carlito" Fuente Jr. developed OpusX — the first puro made entirely from Dominican-grown tobacco — and put the family on every serious smoker's list.
